1. The Proyecto Cívico: Diálogos e interrogantes project is an attempt to see art, the museum, and the city through a wide and dialogical lens. Given the slow and steady erosion of rights and social spaces the PCDI will create a temporary structure around shared spaces and experiences. Artists notoriously find ways to make things work despite obstacles, and have found in their exceptionality within the larger community, a powerful instrument of reflection, dissection—sometimes transformation. The current role of art within the larger dialogue of politics and human relations makes a claim for considering myriad of ways artists engage their surroundings as physical and social spaces.

2. Tuvimos nuestra primera reunión: los responsables del proyecto (Bill Kelley Jr y Lucía Sanroman), algunos de los posibles interlocutores y personal que pertenece a alguno de los grupos que participará en este rollo. En las instalaciones de Lui Velazquez, de manera informal, se dio un acercamiento a los temas que se abordarán en el PCDI (algunos puntos y parte del plan de trabajo inicial ya está en el blod del proyecto).
En esta actividad estaré de interlocutor entre un grupos de artistas, las dinámicas de la ciudad y el público. Y eso qué es y cuál será mi trabajo? No pregunten, todavía no lo tengo claro pero tendremos blog y actividades para esclarecerlo. Atentos pues.
